Nimach: There is a good news for the people of district that the electrification work on the railway track from Ratlam to Nimach has been completed, few days ago CRS has also given the green signal for operation of train with electric engine. But after fixing some minor flaws, on Sunday for the first time, electric engine reached Nimach with Haldighati Passenger Train from Ratlam. This successful run created happiness in the railway department. Soon after the completion of the electrification work up to Chittaurgarh, operations of train with electric locomotives will start directly for big cities.

Nimach Station Manager Rampal Meena said that for the past several months the electrification work was going from Nimach to Ratlam, which was completed few days ago, after which symbolic investigation was conducted by the Railway department. In the same sequence, on Sunday, for the first time 59811/Haldighati Passenger train powered by Vadodara Shed 30153/WAP-5 electric engine arrived Nimach at 11.35 AM Loco Pilot Manoj Swami, Assistant Loco Pilot Krishnakant Jat and Guard NK Rao was on duty.
At the same time, train left for Chittaurgarh at 11.45 AM with Diesel Engine. 59812/Haldighati Passenger Train coming from Chittaurgarh to Nimach at 12.10 PM left for Ratlam with Electric Locomotive at 12.20 PM. In both trains, the work of changing power from diesel to electric and electric to diesel was done by Santosh Premi. Station Superintendent Anil Kumar Dhanuka told that this was the first trial of the electric loco with passenger train, after which passenger trains will run continuously on track with electric locomotives.
