India's First Semi-High Speed Train Vande Bharat Express will get another rake. This rake will be reserved. It will be used only when needed. Recently, the General Manager of Northern Railway had demanded Additional Rake for Vande Bharat Express from Railway Board. The General Manager said that there is a problem due to Single Rake of the Vande Bharat Express running on New Delhi - Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Route. Regular Operation of the train is interrupted due to Single Rake When the Weather Condition is bad.
Similarly, there is also a single Rake for the Vande Bharat Express running on New Delhi - Varanasi Route. Additional rakes will be also used on this route. Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway Shri Nitin Chowdhary said that the ICF Chennai has assured to give additional rake after three months. The additional rake will be used from next year.
